Briefly - Get the Data is a new to me site which provides a simple social forum for asking questions about data sets and getting answers. Questions can be voted on and answers are ranked. While it doesn't appear to have a huge user base, the questions and answers are very useful.

Thanks for the mention.... GetTheData launched at the start of this year - as a domain specific Q&A site - so we're trying to grow the user base.

We hope that "get" will be interpreted in several ways, from "where to find", to "how to obtain" and even to "how to access/make of the data in a technical way".
