The New York Times has an interesting interactive visualization of Netflix rental data by neighborhood. The display is coloured to show the rank of the movie currently selected. The view below, for example, shows the distribution of rankings for Twilight.
This is a fun view of the data. It'd be nice to see which movies where the most polarizing (i.e. those which were very popular in some cities and very unpopular in others).

Matt, I'm glad you posted because I learned about this viz from your blog. You're right, it's a fun view of the data, but it appears (so far as I can tell) that the data is quite flawed, making it a flawed visualization.
