I was playing around with Blogpulse today to look at trends around recent movies and found that 1 week of data (from the 13th of November to the 22nd) is missing. This can be seen in the graph below. The week period with a perfectly straight line indicates that there are no data points between those dates.
@Blogpulse - what happened? The charts cycled on the sites home page don't appear to be missing this data. Was there a disc/backup failure?
Very interesting, but what is more interesting from what you posted above are the similarities in volume/peaks. Which got me to some experimenting..
Now, the graph is normalized and shows % rather than volume.. so volume shouldn't influence the line but rather attention..
How then you explain the very similar lines of 'kitchen' and 'french'? or so very many other pairs I tested?
