Taking the list of top 100 movie earners for 2007 from Box Office Mojo, selecting those which were released in the second half of the year and graphing the buzz around the titles grouped by MPAA rating produces the following:
Assuming BlogPulse is giving reasonable results, we might note the summer/winter seasonality of PG13 movies, and the more singular trend of R and PG movies towards the end of the year. Note that there were some films I had to leave out due to their highly ambiguous names ('This Christmas', 'Halloween').
