Xobni (inbox backwards) is a plugin for Outlook that does some neat mining over your email corpus. It provides, for example, information about when a particular person tends to send email (helping you figure out when that person might be available for a call, for example). It also provides threaded views of email conversation as well as augmented search capabilities.
There is another reason to be interested in Xobni. As part of their beta roll out, they are allowing people to register via email in the normal way. However, if you stick a Xobni button on your blog, you can get bumped to their priority list. An interesting way to spread the news.
