Another concern is that there can be no democracy where there are too few options to choose from, in the same way that you an not hope for a market to be fair if there are too few entrants, leading to oligopoly or monopoly.

What is generally described as "democratization" with the general meaning of "popularization" or "general dissemination" results generally from innovation, inventions and ruptures made by companies which are the reinforced. The recent history qualifies Google as such an inventor...

The paradox is that the greater the dissemination and spread, the more monopolistic their creators become, thus lowering the general "market fairness" / "democracy level".
