The US Vote and the Blogosphere

I'm not sure what the graph below indicates, but it certainly is interesting.

In the run up to the election, there appears to be more discussion mentioning republican and vote than there is mentioning democratic and vote (and each search excluding the term for the other party). My suspicion (hope) is that this is speculation about the position of risk that the incumbent party is in.

The graphs for "democratic party" versus "republican party" and that for "democratic candidate", "republican candidate" both look similar to this one.

It may have a lot to do with the growing suspicions of Republican vote fraud as well. Be interesting to see something like "electronic voting machines" on the graph as well.
