Hi Matthew, these visualizations are wonderful.

I recently produced a simulator for a p2p network that generates graphs like this. The simulator generates a log file that contains information about the nodes and edges and you can see the time sequence of new edges being added. I was looking for a way to visualize it and came across an XML standard called GraphML, and a free tool called yEd from http://www.yworks.com - I wonder if you were aware of these tools?

I wrote up the simulator and output plots in a recent IEEE conference paper http://doi.ieeecomputersociety.org/10.1109/CEC-EEE.2006.81
