It is interesting to see how discussion of the World Cup bounces back as we approach the semi-finals. Are we going to see posting volume on the day of the final stretch above the initial peak?

Nice bit of info you have there, I wonder how it would compare to something like the European championships or how much the clubs revenue changes from the sales of football gifts while the world cup is on

The curve tends to follow the trend of sales of football merchandise. Much interest at the beginning of Jun and dropping off when England went out, picking upagain towards the semis.
