Technorati launched their microformats review search last week. Since then I've been tracking the number of results for the queries 'good' and 'bad'. The graph below shows that there seems to be a constant increase in the number of reviews but it looks pretty linear (that is, if you ignore the sudden leap in the middle which is probably the result of some infrastructure change or new crawling targets).
I've had a quick (and by no means scientific) look at the results to see qualitatively what the results are like. There aren't yet really enough data to draw any conclusions, though I did see several duplicates and what I thought to be an over indexing of porn. These are early days, however, and I'm really excited to see the start of this whole thing. Technorati have invested heavily in leading the community on microformats and they clearly have a vision which integrates a very smart addition to web data in general and business strategy.
