Social Networks Save the Day

I recently came across the work of Jeffrey Heer and Danah Boyd who have been working on social network visualization: vizster.

As Danah mentions on her blog, vizster was recently shown on the CBS TV show Numb3rs - where it is used to illustrate the well known fact that social network analysis can save the day! Danah's post has the video.
