Web Calendar Update
After reading Ken's summary of the Corante Network's comments on Google Calendar, I went back and looked at the entry capabilities on 30Boxes. They do have limited free text entry, but it is not close to the NLP capabilities of SpongeCell and Google. Currently, ranking this part of the interface puts SpongeCell ahead of Google and both ahead of 30Boxes (stay tuned for a more comprehensive set of tests).
I noted also that Narendra of 30Boxes left a comment on Ken's post indicating that they, like Google before them, are going to release email integration.
Finally, I spoke with the folks at SpongeCell about their NLP capabilities and am impressed at the approach they are taking - a robust yet light weight solution with lots of exciting plans for the future.

Ken,
At 30boxes, we aren't doing AI, we are doing an open to semi-structured approach to NLP and after some early modifications it is performing very well for our users, allowing the creation of rich (priority, notes, mapped locations and directions, weather) events which IMHO is way ahead of google.
